Since the beginning, we have been a family business. The Hansen family and the Riegel family established what we know today as HARIBO Licorice.
In Denmark, HARIBO was established in 1935, when the two families decided to merge Sukkervarefabrikken Danmark and HARIBO into a new company: HARIBO Lakrids A/S.
